We're Eric Ludy and Gene Graf, the co-founders of Cheese Brothers. We're two cheese enthusiasts from Wisconsin, and it's safe to say that great cheese is in our blood.

Eric's great grandfather, Fred Ludy, a Swiss cheesemaker, started the family's first cheese factory in Wisconsin back in 1919. Gene learned the trade from Eric's dad, Tom Ludy. Although we're not brothers by birth, the brotherhood of cheese has bonded us ever since we launched our company in 2015.

Our cheese is made the same way it has been since 1919, with a bit more fancy equipment these days. The process begins with fresh milk from local family farms. Our cheesemakers add the necessary cultures, allowing the curd to form. Any seasonings are then added before the cheese is pressed into blocks and left to cure, sometimes for several months or even years for aged varieties. Finally, the cheese is cut, wrapped, labeled, and shipped directly to our customers.

What sets our products apart is that they are never processed or artificial in any way - just good, old-fashioned Wisconsin cheese. The seasonings we use are always natural and simple, never artificial.

We take pride in carrying on our families' cheese-making traditions in Wisconsin. But we also love to experiment with new and innovative flavor combinations, many of which are inspired by feedback from our loyal customers.

Our Ultimate Pack offers 13 blocks of various Wisconsin cheeses, including honey sriracha gouda, smoked cheddar, and our popular Rhapsody. We also include two blocks of our Cheese Brothers Reserve cheese: Rhapsody and an 8-year-aged cheddar.
